Bio

Hailing from the hayday of UKG and the birth of grime in east london. Ricky Sahota formerly known as Ricky Sensi began his journey at the age of 16. His passion derived from collecting tape packs from the hottest parties in the late early 00's and lugging around bags of vinyl and cd's to a wide number of London based Pirate Radio stations. Making his mark in the last two years across the underground house scene, Ricky is out week after week hyping up dancefloors and cementing his unique style and blend of tech, deep and soul grooves in venues across the capital.

Drawing influences from an eclectic range of genres including UKG, Acid House, Techno, Dub Reggae, Soul, Jazz; his love for heavy percussion, rolling basslines, melodic harmonies and smooth vocals are evident in all of his sets and are garuntee'd to give you what he calls the chance to physically feel and connect with the sound - often referring to the build of a great track as a science aswell as an art form, Ricky is taking dancefloors by storm one venue at a time. In the last year, Ricky founded Sub:Conscious Ldn, a platform based on providing "intelligent music for conscious people".

The brand and ricky have attracted support from some major artists, clubs and brands across the European circuit, 2017 looks more and more prosperous by the day. In recent months Ricky has also secured residency's at some of London's newest and hottest parties including APT, Wave & Primo, as well as securing a monthly show on internet radio outlet, Hoxton FM.
